Marketing Essentials
Host & Trainer: Joe Comeau, CCC-SLP
Training Director, ILP Training Division
This one-day interactive business training event will provide you with an intense immersion into marketing concepts and principles which you can apply immediately. And that’s the whole point – to get you moving, working, engaging with paying clients.
You’ll learn how to:
- Define and locate your High Opportunity Clients
- Research your competition
- Develop a professional identity
- Implement the “Four Ps” and deliver the “Four Fs” of Marketing using the foundation of marketing performance factors as developed by instructors at Harvard Business School
- Identify advertising and publicity opportunities
- Analyze the steps of the Marketing Cycle
- Develop a customized marketing plan and budget
all with specific, real numbers and facts that apply to your personal business circumstances.
Similar to your P-ESL training, this event will deliver a concentrated and intense amount of critical information.
It’s a great deal of work. Some say too much work. And this workshop is highly interactive – highly dependent on your willingness to apply techniques and strategies to your current situation, whether that involves no clients or a long history of clients. But you’ll learn to do what active and experienced instructors do.
You’ll begin with a nearly blank slate: your own Marketing Planbook.
As you work through each critical concept, your instructor will guide you through a series of exercises designed to create your own unique workable plan and goals.
Your planbook will be transformed into a clear vision of how to market your company’s services to the most qualified and interested clients.
You’ll leave with results in the form of a specific, written plan of action – a step-by-step playbook of exact marketing actions that you can achieve and complete.
This is not a lecture. This is business spring-boarding. It is intended for instructors who are ready for new clients, not for the passive learner.
