Module 3: Instructional Methods and Training
Module 3 is comprised of a step-by-step “road map” consisting of session templates for each session in a typical client program, covering a broad selection of exercises, techniques, prompting cues and strategies, using customized vocabulary and practice material, building awareness and control not just of speech sounds but vocal strength, conversation skills and presentation delivery. Clients are directed to use an online practice program built around their personalized training agenda with “built-in” accountability through a practice-work recording feature that sends recordings directly to you, the instructor.

Module 4: Review and Final Exam
Module 4 contains a summary and certification exam, which is a fairly basic set of questions covering the basics. Submit this exam with a passing score and you’ll earn Certified P-ESL Instructor status. While certification is not required to offer these services, it demonstrates proficiency in the P-ESL methodology, provides access to the complete suite of P-ESL instructional resources, and signifies that instruction is delivered according to an established, standardized training system.

Total Course Time: Many students report completing the course in about 10 hours and gaining a solid understanding of the material. However, because the concepts build on one another, many also find it helpful to revisit the lessons several times before everything fully comes together. That’s why your enrollment includes one full year of access, giving you the flexibility to review the content at your own pace whenever you need it.
This on-demand course includes text, video and audio recordings.
Passing an online exam with a score of 80% or higher and completing a course evaluation will be required to earn continuing education credit. The entire course must be complete to receive credit. Partial credit is not offered. The exam and course evaluation must be completed within 365 days of course registration.
