One of the most rewarding parts of running 800-language.com is welcoming professionals who are passionate about helping others communicate more effectively. Every new member brings unique experiences, perspectives, and goals to our growing community of pronunciation and accent instruction professionals.
I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our newest members who joined us during July 2026:
- Sheldon H. from Fremont, California
- Maureen from Long Island City, New York
- Lisa B. from Texas
- Ava A. from Indiana, who has returned to complete a P-ESL Refresher!
As your ILP Training Director I’m grateful you’ve chosen to be part of this community.
Pronunciation instruction is a fascinating and rewarding area of practice. It combines linguistics, communication, education, listening, coaching, and problem-solving in ways that can make a meaningful difference in people’s personal and professional lives. Every learner you work with will have a different story, different goals, and different challenges—which is part of what makes this work so engaging.
If you’re new to the course, take your time. Work through the material at a pace that allows you to absorb the concepts and practice the techniques. Don’t hesitate to revisit lessons or ask questions along the way. Learning to teach pronunciation effectively is a skill that develops through study, observation, and experience.
If you’re returning for a refresher, welcome back! It’s always encouraging to see professionals investing in keeping their knowledge current. Reviewing the fundamentals often leads to new insights and greater confidence when working with learners.
To all of our new members: thank you for your interest in this field and for allowing me to be part of your professional journey. I look forward to supporting you as you develop your skills and begin applying what you learn with confidence.
Welcome to the community!
You could make this a recurring monthly feature (“New Member Spotlight”) to help build a sense of community and demonstrate that people are actively joining the program.
